General Health & Wellbeing

Our friendly staff can give you advice on a range of food and preventative products for your pet

A balanced diet is important for your pets’ health and wellbeing. We stock a range of trusted brands and our friendly staff can provide advice on the best options for your pet.

Intestinal Worming

The most common types of intestinal worms are roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm.

Puppies and kittens should be wormed every 2 weeks until they reach 12 weeks of age, then monthly until they are 6 months old.  For dogs and cats over 6 months, treatment is required every 3 months.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm are parasites that live in the heart and pulmonary arteries and are spread by mosquitoes.

Prevention products are available as monthly treatments or long-lasting annual injections.

Flea & Tick Control

Eggs and larvae can survive in the environment for up to a year.  Successful control involves treating your pet directly as well as decontaminating your pet’s environment.

There is a range of products available for protecting your pet against fleas and ticks, and we can provide advice on the best product to suit your needs.
